Summary
Game Machine is a desktop platform that lets gamers mine cryptocurrency in the background and spend it on in-game items like CSGO skins or Dota 2 gear. This was a 0 to 1 project where I led the full design process, from defining the product’s UX to crafting its brand identity. Special attention was given to creating a hooky experience with gamified mechanics to drive daily engagement. The visual style combines bold, electric colors with a gaming-inspired UI to resonate with gamers.
Challenges and goals:
Design an MVP from scratch to validate the product idea
Maximize retention and daily mining time through engaging UX
Create a catchy visual style that resonates with gamers
Iterate quickly based on early user feedback
